April 4th, 2011 by ed |

The market of China is of intense significance to Ferrari, who did impressive business in the PRC in the course of 2010 by selling 300 autos to Chinese customers which become an increase of fifty percent over 2009 sales. The biggest shortcoming in the Ferrari sales in China seems to be that most of the consumers are purchasing Ferrari for bragging rights, particularly as Ferrari is not make for every day drivers – assuming of course of Ferrari customers even drive themselves anywhere.

Porsche saw a huge sales increase when they unveil Panamera sedan in China because most of the drivers prefers to be chauffeur driven quite then be worried through the necessities of turning wheel & maneuvering your foot o’er the accelerator, the launch of the Ferrari FF would be major support to Chinese Ferrari sales figure when it gets its 1st Chinese airing at Shanghai Auto Show later of April month.

Ferrari’s Entry to Indian Market with Shreyans

February 16th, 2011 by ed |

Ferrari India is ultimately entering the India & will unleash its complete series of sports cars in 2011. Ferrari’s conclusion to associte with Shreyans comes as an especially since Tata cars was anticipated to be retail collaborator of the legendary car producer, given its bond with Fiat India. Ferrari cars India has linked with Shreyans as its only distributor for Indian market. Nevertheless, Ferrari has decided to introduce Indian on its own & has option Shreyans that deals in top end luxury goods, to set up its network in Indian market. Shreyans is sole distributor for Porsche cars in India & till recently, an Audi cars dealer in Mumbai also. With high end market in India thriving & first Indian Grand Prix 2011, Ferrari (that is synonymous with F1) could not have timed its entrance into India. Also, variants and versions like the Ferrari 458 Italia and the forthcoming 4 wheel Ferrari FF are probable to find an important number of consumers in India & this could see Ferrari cars record healthy twin-digit sales in its 1st year. Entrance of Ferrari into Indian market will come as a blessing to already existing Ferrari owners who till now have made do with unauthorized service support from independent service departments.

2010 Ferrari California

October 27th, 2010 by ed |

Not too many years ago, buying a Ferrari meant you would be open to certain trade-offs – it was a beast of a automobile with a serious clutch, way too much authority for most people to manage and soothe levels similar to a genuine Formula One car. It was for fun, not for practicality, and it was most certainly a second car. Driving to the office was best left for the Mercedes. The Ferrari was good for a few hours on the weekends whipping around twisty roads, or just cruising downtown for precious “look at me” time.

But things have changed. Nowadays, you might work out of your home, what with this new “internet” thing that seems to be catching on. But if you did have to go to the office, or even pop down to the shop for some milk, you wouldn’t think twice about using the Ferrari California. What  a ferrari to do daily chores in? It almost sounds like blasphemy, especially from such a storied, no-limits sports automobile company. But the California represents quite a few departures for Ferrari, not the least of which is the company’s acceptance of making its cars more user-friendly.

Sitting inside, four passengers are ensconced in the usual skin opulence. Oh, yes, you read properly – I said four. Because the California offers two tiny seats in the rear for a true GT experience. Of course, for that knowledge the rear passengers will have to be small children, because that’s all that will fit there. Or, you can opt for the luggage rack instead either way, it’s best for two in the front.
